HOOSICK FALLS – Pat Lanoue beat the buzzer yet again. With the score tied in the Wasaren League-Patroon Conference senior all-star game, Hoosic Valley’s Pat Lanoue hit the game winning shot from 15 feet with 3 seconds remaining. The Wasaren League team won, 81-79.

It was the only basket Lanoue made all night, salvaging a 1-for-16 performance from the field.

“I had a poor shooting night, but at the end I made the shot and it was a good one to make,” Lanoue said.

Schuylerville’s Schuyler Thomas led all scorers with 26 points, including seven three-pointers. Cambridge’s Shea Bromirski added 17 for the Wasaren League.

Lanoue, Bromirski and Thomas finished 1-2-3 in the coaches’ voting. “All three played like MVP’s (Wednesday night),” said Tamarac head coach Eric Medeved, at the Wasaren helm Wednesday night.

Patroon Conference MVP Lyle Hughes of Hudson led his team with 16 points.

Rensselaer’s senior duo of Justin Wilkinson and Keith Britt combined for 10 points.
