Cross Country State Polls 9/24
The latest cross country state polls are out and once again Section II is well represented with a total of 23 teams ranked-seven boys and 16 girls teams.
The Shenendehowa boys and girls came away with a split at the Bowdoin Classic in Wappinger Falls last weekend with the girls placing first and the boys taking second.
The Burnt Hills boys team is ranked first while the girls have the second spot in Class A. Queensbury also has both its girls and boys teams ranked with the girls at the top spot and boys third.
Lansingburgh breaks into the top 20 on the girls side at No. 14 in Class B.
The Queensbury XC Classic heads up the local invitationals this weekend with the Grout set for OCT. 4.
