2010 Exceptional Senior basketball games

Here are the dates and times for the upcoming Exceptional Senior games:

CHVL
GREEN ISLAND — Doane Stuart’s Lucas Wager scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Central Hudson Valley League’s White-jersey team to a 59-56 victory over the Dark-jersey team in Thursday’s Exceptional Senior game played at the Heatly School on Thursday, March 11.
Cullen Overholt, from the Loudonville Christian team, added 16 points for the White team, making four three-point buckets.
Antonio Bryant, from the Heatly School, scored a team-high 11 points for the Dark team. Berlin’s Shawn Willis added 10 points and Heatly’s Peter Heffern poured in another eight points for the Dark team.
Six Heatly players competed in the game and five of them made one three-point field goal apiece.
CHVL Exceptional Senior Game
CHVL WHITE 59, CHVL DARK 56
Dark (56): Willis 5-0-10, Webster 3-0-7, Nelson 1-0-2, Heffern 3-1-8, Miller 2-0-5, Jones 1-0-3, Patalino 2-1-5, Gleason 2-0-5, Bryant 5-0-11. Totals: 24-2-56.
White (59): Wager 9-2-20, Hohenstein-Flack 2-0-5, Overholt 6-0-16, Deeb 1-0-3, Vadney 1-3-5, Bovenzi 4-0-10. Totals: 23-5-59.

Patroon Conference vs. Wasaren League
Girls
Patroon 73, Wasaren 71: The Patroon Conference girls Exceptional Senior team handed their Wasaren League counterparts a 73-71 defeat, playing without the Maple Hill seniors, who are gearing up for the New York State Class C Final Four. Shavonda Cousin, from Hudson High, scored 17 points for the Patroon team.
Alyssa Stall added 11 points, while Rebecca Smith and Sam Davis scored eight points apiece for the Patroon seniors.
Boys
Wasaren 71, Patroon 66: Schuylerville Steve Backus scored 16 points and his teammate, Austin Bateman, added nine for the Wasaren League Seniors in a victory over their counterparts from the Patroon Conference Monday night at Rensselaer High School.
Hoosick Falls' Kevin McMahon added 15 points for the Wasaren team.
Rensselaer's Chris Britt scored a team-high 11 points for the Patroon team, which was cheered on by the Maple Hill seniors, who are busy preparing for their Final Four game in Glens Falls Friday afternoon.
WASAREN LEAGUE 71, PATROON CONFERENCE 66
Wasaren League (71): Backus 4-5-16, McMahon 6-2-15, Bateman 3-1-9, Pallozzi 1-0-3, Walsh 3-0-8, Miller 4-0-11, Eddy 0-1-1, D'Aiuta 4-0-8. Totals: 26-9-71.
Patroon Conference (66):
Barksdale 1-0-2, Sheldon 2-0-4, Ingham 2-0-5, Larm 4-0-8, Horn 3-0-7, Forrester 4-0-9, Tailleur 1-0-3, Britt 3-5-11, Zimmerman 2-0-4, Jacobsen 1-2-4, McGiver 1-7-9. Totals: 24-14-66.

Big 10 Conference vs. Suburban Council
Girls
Big 10 Conference 56, Suburban Council 55 (OT): Bishop Maginn's Qui Essence Price scored 13 points and Troy High's Maddy Weaver added 10 as the Big 10 topped the Suburban Council's Exceptional Seniors Tuesday at Shenendehowa High School.
Niskayuna's Kim Fagan scored a team-high 11 points for the Suburban squad.
BIG 10 CONFERENCE 56, SUBURBAN COUNCIL 55 (OT)
Big 10 Conf. (56): Foglia 2-0-4, Weaver 3-2-10, Price 4-5-13, Cromwell 2-0-4, Beetle-Moorecroft 1-0-3, Koutsakis 1-0-3, Nowosielski 1-0-2, Rouse 4-0-8, Zabo 2-4-9. Totals: 20-11-56.
Suburban Council:
Crawford 3-0-7, Tallman 3-1-7, Winne 4-2-10, Dillon 1-0-3, Houle 3-0-7, Cowell 1-0-2, Juron 0-2-2, Lashin 1-2-4, Fagan 4-3-11, Kelly 1-0-2. Totals: 21-10-55.
Big 10 Conf.

3-point goals: Big 10 Conf. 5 (Weaver 2, Beetle-Moorecroft 1, Koutsakis 1, Zabo 1). Suburban 3 (Crawford 1, Dillon 1, Houle 1).

Boys
Big 10 Conference 76, Suburban Council 72: Bishop Maginn's John Scurry scored 14 points and Griffins teammate Jerel Scott added 11 as the Exceptional Seniors from the Big 10 topped their Suburban Council counterparts in the annual tussle Tuesday at Shenendehowa High School.
La Salle Institute's Mike Murray added 12 points.
Saratoga Springs' Zach Arpey scored a game-high 18 points for the Suburban squad. Columbia's Nick Keefe chipped in with 10.
Guilderland's Anthony Gallo scored all eight of his points in the first quarter as the Suburban team jumped to an early lead. Arpey made two of his four three-point buckets in the second quarter and Keefe scored seven of his 10 points in the second frame as the Suburban gained a five-point lead at halftime.
With 6:35 to go in the fourth quarter, Albany High's Jeremic Bennett tied the score at 57-57. Maginn's Chris Jeffers put the Big 10 ahead, 62-61, with 5:04 to go. Scurry made two foul shots at the end of the game to seal it for the Big 10.
BIG 10 CONFERENCE 76, SUBURBAN COUNCIL 72
Big 10 Conf. (76): Sumpter 2-0-6, Scott 5-1-11, Jeffers 1-0-2, Scurry 4-6-14, Clement 2-0-5, Bennett 3-0-6, Campbell 0-1-1, Murray 4-3-12, Williams 1-2-4, Erwin 4-0-8, Fields 3-1-7. Totals: 29-14-76.
Suburban (72):
