Class D boys basketball moves to Saratoga
Adam Cole, the Section II Class D basketball chairman, sent us an email this morning confirming that the Section II Class D boys quarterfinal games this Saturday will be moved to Saratoga Springs High School. Times remain the same.
The Class D bracket has been updated here.
Look for a story on the Heatly School boys team, which earned a No. 1 seed in the D brackets, in Friday's edition of The Record.
(Also of note, the Albany Academy boys have moved the site for their game against Catholic Central to Nolan Gym at the College of Saint Rose at 6:30 p.m. The AA bracket has been corrected.)
Admission to all first round games is $3. For boys quarters, semis and finals, admission is $6. For girls, quarters are $3 and semis and finals are $6. This money goes to Section II which uses it to fund the expenses incurred by teams that advance to regional and state competition. Tour bus cost and the like come out of the admission fee.
The remainder of the boys brackets are here.
For girls brackets, click here.
I will be updating them tonight as the scores roll in, so be sure to check back and see who your team plays next.
