Wildcats striking the right note on the hardwood

The Wildcats (7-0, 9-0) prior to Thursday's Patroon Conference game at Cairo-Durham, were ranked No. 7 in the latest New York State Sportswriters Association poll. The list, however, incorrectly calls the school "Maple Hills." And that is just fine with junior forward Sean Danaher, who scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Tuesday's victory over Catskill.
"I’m really stoked that we’re ranked in the state," Danaher said. "It’s really exciting to be part of something so big. I think it’s kind of funny that they rank us Maple Hills. It adds an underdog factor to it."
Maple Hill is averaging over 70 points per game and their average margin of victory is over 20 points.
