HS football polls released, 10/1

The New York State Sportswriters Assosiation released their most recent high school football polls this afternoon.

Cohoes (2-0, 4-0) climbed to No. 19 this week and they have a crucial game Friday night at Reinfurt Division rival Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (2-0, 3-1).

Lansingburgh (2-0, 3-1) also plays an important game Friday night at Bleecker Stadium against No. 21 Bishop Maginn (2-0, 4-0).

Fonda-Fultonville (4-0, 4-0) was ranked No. 14 last week. The Braves surrendered 36 points to Tamarac in the fourth quarter on Saturday but climbed to No. 12. Go figure.
