Beditz earning a starting job at Oneonta
Troy High graduate Meg Beditz is the starting right fielder for the Oneonta State softball team as a sophomore.
Beditz started five games a season ago, getting just 24 at-bats. This season, she's already doubled her number of plate appearances, starting 20 of the Dragons' 21 games. Oneonta is 11-10 overall and 3-3 in SUNYAC play.

A number of former Troy High softball players are also starring on Siena College's team.
The Saints, click here to see their full roster, are off to a 4-27 start this season, but are packed with local talent.
Troy's Shannon Jones and Courtney Brinkman join Lindsey McKeever (Mechanicville), Mandy Ferro (Shenendehowa) and Courtney Mahan (Catholic Central) on the roster.
