Fox 23 poll

Fox 23 TV is holding a vote to determine the best newspaper coverage of high school sports in the Capital Region. Throw a vote our way by clicking over here.

I'm watching their year-end segment right now, which is nice to give the kids the TV coverage, but they have to get a little more accurate with the stats.
The announcers said Cohoes' Steve Weaver was the area's sack leader with nine sacks - numbers they got from another website we won't name here - and while Weaver deserves some recognition, he wasn't the area's sack leader. Watervliet's Joe Hughes, our Defensive Player of the Year, had 14. I'm not sure if anyone had more, but there was a little misinformation on the Fox show.
