QB ratings after week five

QB ratings according to the NFL formula, among Section II passers with at least 40 attempts:

134.2708

Paul Layton

Burnt Hills (A)

128.4131

Zach Dolan

Troy (A)

128.0392

Nick Ottati

Schenectady (AA)

122.1188

Mike Murray

La Salle (AA)

116.125

Josh Nethaway

Fonda-Fultonville ©

104.0642

Chad McCloskey

Gloversville (A)

103.9141

Danny Peters

Niskayuna (AA)

98.64969

Hunter McCarthy

Albany Academy (B)

Schenectady's Ottati and La Salle's Murray will tee off against each other this Friday in Schenectady in a crucial Liberty League game.

Only Peters has thrown for over 1,000 yards (1,046) but his four interceptions bring the rating down a tad.
Layton, has only thrown 22 completions for 449 yards, but has tossed eight touchdowns against no interceptions. It gives Layton a gaudier rating although quarterbacks such as Peters and McCarthy take it to the air on nearly every play.

A few of the girls on the Troy High volleyball team do play with other, non-school youth teams such as the Lakeside Volleyball Club in Burnt Hills.

However, no such club exists yet in Troy.
The club in Burnt Hills is wildly successful - players get involved in it during their elementary school years just like Little League baseball or Pop Warner football.
So, it's no surprise the Spartans haven't lost a Suburban Council match since the Bush Administration.
The first one.
In the 90s.
