Girls Volleyball
Columbia 3, Colonie 0: Liz Dickie recorded 17 kills as Columbia posted a Suburban Council sweep of Colonie by scores of 25-15, 25-21 and 25-17.
Lindsey Champitto added 11 assists and Natasha Schultz contributed four aces.
Guilderland 3, Mohonasen 1: Guilderland earned a hard-fought Suburban Council victory Friday over the Mighty Warriors by scores of 25-22, 22-25, 25-23 and 25-22.
For the Lady Dutch, Liz Tapler provided eight kills and two aces, while Mary Kelly made 13 kills and Allie VanDoren added 21 assists.
For Mohonasen, Lea McClain made 11 kills and Kelly Freisatz dished out 19 assists.
Niskayuna 3, Saratoga Springs 0: The Silver Warriors blanked the Blue Streaks in Suburban Council action by scores of 26-24, 31-29 and 25-19.
Rachel Meachem made 26 assists and Marissa Coppola  added 20 digs for Niskayuna (1-0).
Camila Machado made 16 assists for the Blue Streaks (0-1).
Bethlehem 3, Averill Park 0: The Eagles earned a Suburban Council sweep of Averill Park by scores of 25-20, 25-19 and 25-16.
Jaci Oskam smashed 13 kills and added a pair of aces and four blocks for the Eagles (1-0).
Kaitlyn Coon made seven digs and three kills for Averill Park, while Christine Bonacquist contributed with four aces.
Boys Volleyball
Shenendehowa 3, Columbia 0: Shen defeated the Blue Devils in Suburban Council action, 25-12, 25-17 and 25-12.
Field Hockey
Niskayuna 4, Bethlehem 0: Niskayuna received goals from Carrie Hanks, Sydney Bowker, Katie Wells and Claire Young in a Suburban Council victory over the Eagles (0-1).
Abby Coyne made eight saves for the Silver Warriors (1-0).
