The chat has gone live (as of 2:45 p.m.), so click on the play button in the window below to join the conversation. I'll keep chatting tonight until 11 p.m. or so, so check back often.

--
Since the 2010 high school football season begins this Thursday when Colonie takes on Shaker in the annual battle for the Town of Colonie Cup, let's have a chat to discuss what you think will happen this year.

Join football fans (and perhaps players) from around the region in a online discussion beginning Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m., right here on Off The Record.

Bring your ideas, theories and hopes for what could happen on the gridiron this year and share them with the Section II football community.

Our 48-page high school football preview section will be published the next morning on Thurs., Sept. 2, 2010. A copy will be tucked inside each edition of The Record on the newsstand that day.

Keep checking back on the blog for a training camp report posted every day between now and opening day of the high school football season on Thurs., Sept. 2. The schools will be posted in no particular order, so please be patient if you don't see your school right away.

Also keep your eyes open for our 48-page preview section - Kickoff 2010 - which hits the newsstands inside The Record on Thurs., Sept. 2. It will feature 21 team previews, columns, feature stories, statistics and pictures to preview the upcoming 2010 high school football season.
