2008 NYSSWA rankings (Final)

The New York State Sportswriters Association released their final version of the 2008 high school football polls. State champions are ranked No. 1.
Section II teams indicated in bold.

The Record prints its All-Area teams and names Offensive & Defensive Players of the Year, as well as Coach of the Year, on Christmas Day. (Boys soccer runs on the 24th, while girls soccer follows on the 26th).
