What looks good on the schedule this weekend?
Averill Park is hosting a girls basketball tournament with Troy, Lansingburgh and Columbia in a Rensselaer County showdown. All of those teams are looking forward to promising years and we will find out just how good Lansingburgh and Averill Park are going against Class A competition.
Lansingburgh's Ariana Youngs scored 21 points (five three-pointers) in a victory over Albany Academy for Girls on Tuesday night, so it looks like the Lady Knights are off to a good start.
