HS football polls released, 11/4

2008 NYSSWA rankings (through Nov. 2)

La Salle and Watervliet jumped into the state rankings this week with semifinal victories, setting up Super Bowl showdowns with Schenectady and Schuylerville, respectively.

Cohoes, Chatham and Troy held on to spots after losing in the semis - as the poll committes gave these squads a nod for their fine seasons.

Burnt Hills, Schuylerville and Rensselaer are the only Section II teams ranked in the top ten.
