Legends win Connie Mack Qualifier for fourth straight year

The Florida Legends defeated the Cincy Flames in the morning and then rallied from a two-run deficit in the seventh inning to beat the Richmond County Baseball Club and win the Connie Mack World Series Qualifer Tournament at Geer Field in Troy this afternoon.

It was the fourth straight year in which the Legends have won the open qualifier, earning a trip to the Connie Mack World Series in Farmington, N.M.

The South Troy Dodgers will host the Connie Mack North Atlantic Regional in the Capital Region beginning on Thursday, July 22.
