Ryan a second team All-SUNYAC selection
Former Hoosic Valley High School star Kayla Ryan was named a second team All-SUNYAC selection today. From the Oswego Sports Information office:
OSWEGO - Oswego State sophomore forward Kayla Ryan has been named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women’s Basketball All-Conference Second Team as voted on by the league's coaches. Ryan ranked fourth in the league in steals at 2.56 per game and tenth in scoring at 11.3 points and blocked shots at 0.78 per contest.
The Schaghticoke native paced the Lakers in overall scoring for the second consecutive season with 325 points (12.5 ppg) and was second on the squad with 168 rebounds (6.5 rpg). On the defensive end of the floor, she led the team with 60 steals.
