3:56 pm: After one, Rensselaer is rolling, 21-6. Justin Wilkinson already has 9.
4:17 pm: If Rensselaer owned the first quarter, Germantown owned the second. Behind a handful of steals that led to fast break easy twos, the Clippers narrowed the score to 30-23 at the half. Wilkinson has 14 and Germantown freshman Tommy Griffin has 11 - all coming in the second quarter. The Clippers fans are back and they are LOUD.
6:19 pm: At the half it is (no joke) Mechanicville 17, Voorheesville 13. The Rensselaer Rams play the winner Tuesday night at 6 pm in the CC/C playoff.
7:03: Mechanicville held on to win a very entertaining game over the Blackbirds. Rensselaer will have their hands full with Joe Loudis' crew - they can't have any meltdowns after taking a big lead as they did in their last two games.
Hoosic Valley and Broadalbin are taking their warmups right now - should be a raucous crowd for the final game and we'll see if the Indians can pick up their second sectional title of the day. The girls beat Cohoes earlier this afternoon.
7:46 pm: It's been an exciting half here in the B final. Broadalbin held Hoosic Valley to a 15-8 score in the first quarter, but two shot clock beating treys from Kyle Pallozzi and Pat Lanoue sparked a 12-4 second for Hoosic Valley, who leads 20-19 at the half.
This one is up in the air - either team could come out hot and put it away or we could be down to the last minute.
