The Shaker High School Athletic office is pleased to announce that the following Blue Bison Athletes will be participating at the Division I collegiate level next year:

Caroline Rehfuss a four-year varsity two-sport athlete (swimming and lacrosse) and a two-year member of the National Honor Society, will be attending and playing lacrosse at Princeton University next year. Caroline is the daughter of Claire and Stephen Rehfuss.

Alexis DalCol played varsity lacrosse at Shaker for the past five years. She has also participated in varsity Tennis and varsity swimming. Alexis has been a member of the National Honors Society for the past two years. Alexis will be attending and playing lacrosse at Harvard University next year. Alexis is the daughter of Kathleen and Richard DalCol.

Mike Battaglia has been a three-year starter for the Blue Bison lacrosse team. Mike will begin his collegiate career next fall as a student-athlete for the Siena College Saints. Mike is the son of Anne and Agustua Battaglia.

Shannon Delaney has been a four year varsity starter for the Blue Bison field hockey team. Shannon has accepted an athletic scholarship to attend and play field hockey at Siena College next fall. Shannon is the daughter of Kathleen and Joe Delaney.

Craig Weiss has been a three-year varsity cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field athlete for Shaker. He will be attending SUNY Albany next fall where he will continue to participate in all three sports.

Oluebube Abara has been a varsity soccer, indoor and outdoor track and field athlete since his arrival at Shaker at the start of his junior year. He will be attending SUNY Albany next fall where he will be participating in indoor and outdoor track and field.

Caitlin Cahalan has been a four-year varsity soccer player and starter for Shaker. She will be attending Siena College on an athletic scholarship to play soccer for the Saints. Caitlin is the daughter of Joanne and Robert Cahalan.

Alvin Porter has ran indoor and outdoor track for the past four years. He is the current record-holder on the 4x200M relay team and is the recipient of the Mark Strizzi award this past indoor track season. Alvin recently committed to run track at Manhattan College next year. Alvin is the son of Michele & Andrew Porter.
