ALBANY — Add another championship banner to the Maple Hill High School gymnasium.
The Maple Hill girls tennis team posted a 5-2 victory over Voorheesville Thursday afternoon in the Section II Class C/D title match at Albany Academy.
Erin Duffy, Katherine Zink, Caitlin Beebe and Nikki Cassidy won singles matches and Taylor Wood and Heather Dugan combined to win a doubles match for the Wildcats.
The Section II individual tennis tournament begins Tuesday morning at Central Park in Schenectady.

Shaker 5½, Guilderland 3½: Cat Crummey won at No. 1 singles 6-4, 6-4 to help lead the Blue Bison to the Class AA semifinal victory.

Ichabod Crane 6, Schalmont 1: The Riders swept all five singles matches en route to a Section II team title.
Girls Volleyball
Voorheesville 3, Fonda 0: The Blackbirds (12-0) remained unbeaten with a three-game sweep.
Ellier Wagner had 11 service points and Mariel McGinnis added nine kills and eight digs for Voorheesville.
Ichabod Crane 3, Lansingburgh 0: The Riders (7-4) got nine kills from Jenna Smith and six more from Alicia Raznousky.
Alisse McGrath had four service points and three kills for the Knights.
Schalmont 3, Albany Academy 1: Emily Matuszak, Katie Desmond and Christine McBride combined for a whopping 51 service points as the Sabres (7-5) posted the victory.
Juliann Heigel added seven kills for Schalmont.
J’vanay Santos and Alexis Gould combined for seven kills for the Bears (1-11).
Bethlehem 3, Mohonasen 1: The Eagles (11-2, 12-2) topped the Mighty Warriors in Suburban Council action by games scores of 25-16, 25-8, 27-29 and 25-11.
Jaci Oskam paced Bethlehem with four service aces, 13 kills and two blocks.
Guilderland 3, Colonie 1: The Lady Dutch (8-5) dropped the first game, but won the next three to drop the Garnet Raiders (4-9).
Quincy Kinzel 15 kills for Guilderland.
Stephanie Reinhardt had six kills for Colonie.
Girls Soccer
Columbia 0, Averill Park 0 (OT): No goals in this Suburban Council matchup as the Blue Devils and Warriors played to a draw.
Shenendehowa 3, Burnt Hills 1: The Plainsmen scored twice in the first half, enough to hold off the Spartans in a Suburban Council matchup.
Bethlehem 5, Mohonasen 0: Tara Teal had two goals and two assists and Kristina Maksuti added two tallies to lead the Eagles to the shutout win.
Albany Academy 3, Fonda 0: Emily Lloyd, Lizzy Robinson and Talia Rockmore each scored for the Bears (9-3-0) in the Colonial Council victory.
Bridget Malicki and Emily Downie added assists.
Ashley McDuffey made 15 saves for the Braves.
Ravena 5, Cohoes 1: Lindsey Millett scored three goals to lead the Indians to a win in the Colonial Council.
Amber DellaRocco scored the lone goal for the Tigers.
Cobleskill 7, Watervliet 0: Ali Thompson scored four goals and Morgan Loder added two for the Bulldogs.
Beatrice Lease made 18 stops in goal for the Cannoneers.
Ichabod Crane 4, Holy Names 0: Alex Armstrong scored twice and Mariela Jacome added a goal and an assist for the Riders (5-4-0).
Berlin 7, Rensselaer 1: Tegan Shumway scored four goals and Maria Gordon added two more as the Mountaineers cruised to victory.
Katie Kopaskie scored for the Rams.
Troy 3, Amsterdam 0: Liisi Vink-Lainis assisted on all three goals by Morgan Avery in a Big 10 victory for the Flying Horses.
Briana Sorriento made six saves in net for Troy.
Boys Soccer
Cambridge 6, Granville 0: Barry Linendoll recorded a hat trick to lead the Indians (5-4-2) to the Wasaren win.
Zack Bates, Greg Goldstone and Robert Wojtkun also scored for Cambridge.
Waterford 2, Loudonville Christian 1: Joe DelGuidice went upper 90 late in the second half to give the Fordians (10-0-0, 11-2-0) the victory and keep them unbeaten in CHVL play.
Peter Guenette also scored for Waterford.
Eric Hudspath scored the lone goal for the Eagles (4-4-0, 7-4-0).
Troy 5, Amsterdam 0: The Flying Horses did it again, posting their 11th straight shutout to open the 2010 season.
Brandon Wilson scored three goals and assisted on another for Troy (10-0-0, 11-0-0), which has yet to allow a single goal this season.
Bobby Strang made two saves in net to preserve the shutout for Troy.
Catholic Central 5, La Salle 2: Giacomo Giglio scored two goals and added two assists for the Crusaders in the Big 10 victory.
Justin O’Brien also scored twice and Tyler Hickey added a goal and two assists for Catholic Central.
Kyle Reilly scored both goals for the Cadets and Ben Beaury made eight saves in goal.
Bishop Gibbons 3, CBA 0: Kevin Ly scored all three goals in the game to give the Knights the shutout victory.
Guilderland 1, Colonie 0: Nick Luorno scored his first goal of the season and it proved to be the game-winner on this night for the Dutchmen.
Bethlehem 5, Mohonasen 0: Dan Carillo scored twice for the Eagles (10-2-0).
Niskayuna 3, Shaker 1: Andrew Downey scored 15 minutes into the game for the Silver Warriors in a Suburban Council victory over the Blue Bison.
Lansingburgh 0, Ravena 0 (OT) : The Knights (3-5-3, 4-6-3) played to a Colonial Council draw with the Indians.
Cairo-Durham 2, Chatham 2 (OT): The Mustangs and the Panthers played to a draw in Patroon Conference action Thursday night.
