Kam Ritter scored 25 points and limited his counterpart, Newburgh's Marcus Henderson, to three points in the victory.
Newburgh shot just 30.9 % from the floor, while CBA put the ball in the basket at a 46.5% clip.
“Henderson is just an explosive player that we were really worried about,” said CBA head coach Dave Doemel. “I thought Kameron did a great job on him.”Galal Cancer added 13 points and Max Weaver chipped in with nine.
The CBA bench also played a big role. At one point in the first quarter, four the five starters - all except Weaver - were on the bench as subs gave them a rest. Dan Cuasto scored seven points, including an early trey, that spelled CBA's starters and kept them fresh for a 17-3 run to open the fourth quarter.

Next up for CBA (23-1), the No. 2 ranked team in the state, is No. 1 Half Hollow Hills West (24-1). The Long Island team is paced by future University of Tennessee star Tobias Harris. Harris, a 6-foot-9 power forward, scored 24 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in Saturday's 59-57 victory over Rochester East. Harris made the game-winning putback with eight seconds remaining.
The Brothers don't have anyone that easily matches up with Harris, but the way they play defense, a zone might be the best fit for HHHW anyway. Dave Doemel was sitting courtside taking notes during the game and I'm sure he's hard at work drawing up a plan this very minute.
It should be a great game. Tip-off is set for 2:45 p.m. Sunday at the Civic Center.
CBA has never appeared in a New York State Championship game before.
According to this page, Half Hollow Hills West has never appeared in a state title game since at least 1981.
