Watervliet beat Hoosick Falls last week on the road in a quarterfinal victory and now has two consecutive road victory over higher seeds.
Watervliet quarterback Chris Hughes (above) threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in the Cannoneers' 20-3 upset victory over Chatham.Schuylerville (9-0) is ranked No. 6 in New York, and the Black Horses outscored their opponents 405-112.
It won't get any easier for Watervliet but they'll be close to home in East Greenbush and should have a raucous home crowd there to cheer them on.
