The NewYork Sportswriters Association released their week three football polls this afternoon and the list is below.
Section II garnered three listings in Class A and Class C - with Burnt Hills at No. 4 the highest-ranked Section II team in the state.
Cohoes cracked the rankings at No. 20 in Class B and that may likely be the first time a Cohoes team has ever been ranked in football.
Chatham beat out Tamarac in Class C, as the Panthers earned a No. 18 ranking and the Bengals will have their hands full with the No. 14 Fonda Braves on Saturday afternoon.
The Rensselaer Rams come in at No. 15 in Class D and will have a long and challenging road trip to Fort Edward this weekend.
