Training camp report No. 16: Mechanicville High School

(Blogger's note: Former Record reporter Brien Bouyea covered the three Saratoga County schools on our list for the Kickoff 2010 section. I will post his photos and a few brief notes for these schools, but since I was not on campus, I do not have video).

MECHANICVILLE -- Mechanicville High School's football team had a pretty good year in 2009, finishing the season with a 6-3 record. But in the tough Class C North Division, even a 5-2 regular season record wasn't good enough to qualify for the playoffs.

The Red Raiders will be right in the thick of things again in 2010.

For the full scoop on Mechanicville, check out Brien Bouyea's story in Kickoff 2010, which hits newsstands inside The Record on Thurs., Sept. 2.
