Gormley steps down at CBA

Christian Brothers Academy head coach Matt Gormley, shown here throwing a pass during practice in August, has decided to resign as the Brothers' head varsity football coach.

According to an email from Christian Brothers Academy athletic director Rich Scully, CBA head football coach Matt Gormley has decided to step down as the Brothers' football coach.
He had spent 26 years with the football program at CBA and will continue to work in the school's English department.

Gormley replaced longtime CBA head coach Jim Smith at the start of the 2007 season.
