Albany High's Michael Hughes was named the Big 10 Conference Player of the Year, as announced by the Big 10 head coaches Wednesday. The senior righthander is bound for Coastal Carolina University.

  2. I can not agree more, seems like a lot of good will. How can you justify three and four players at any given position other than pitcher.

  3. ya 8 pitchers and 4 catchers on first team? let alone the MVP was a pitcher!?1? Its not fair to the 4 best pitchers and 2 best catchers that they have to share 1st team with kids who don't deserve it. Big 10 must fix this soon!!!!!
