The Shenendehowa boys squad moves up a position to No.1 in Class AA after a convincing win at last week's Grout meet. The Plainsmen placed five runners in the top seven all finishing in under 14 minutes. There was only 34 seconds separating Alex Leuchanka's first place finish (13:17) and Jaime Glover's seventh place finish (13:51).
The Greenwich girls moved into the top spot in Class D also taking first in the Division C race. Roxanne Henningson covered the 2.75 mile Central Park course in 15:43.29.
Most of the top teams in the section and state are headed down to VanCortland Park for Saturday's Manhattan Inviational.
